Chris Noftall, Executive Director
Chris serves as the Executive Director of Rising Above Ministries, Slave Lake, where he leads with vision, compassion, and unwavering faith. With experience in addiction recovery, Chris brings a unique blend of strategic insight and spiritual guidance to the organization’s mission of transforming lives through Christ-centered recovery.
A passionate advocate for holistic healing, Chris has dedicated his life to helping individuals break the chains of addiction, find purpose, and rebuild their lives in alignment with God’s plan. Chris is known for his commitment to excellence and deep empathy for every person who walks through the center’s doors.
Outside of his professional role, Chris is a husband, father, an active church member and is a strong believer in the power of faith, fellowship, and second chances. Known for his servant leadership and deep empathy, Chris continues to inspire transformation—one life at a time.
Rev. Bruce Clark, Senior Chaplain
Rev. Bruce Clark is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC), serving under the Alberta and Northwest Territories District (ABNWT). Based in Slave Lake, Alberta, he is a devoted pastor, respected community leader, and passionate advocate for spiritual transformation and healing.
Rev. Clark serves as the Senior Chaplain of Addiction Recovery for Rising Above Ministries, Slave Lake, an organization committed to helping people break cycles of defeat and find hope beyond brokenness. In this role, he walks closely with individuals on the path to recovery, offering pastoral care, spiritual guidance, and a message of restoration rooted in Christ.
A powerful example of lifelong learning and dedication, Rev. Clark graduated with honours from Bible college at the age of 50. His journey into ministry has been marked by perseverance, grace, and a deep calling to serve others. His preaching and care are shaped by empathy, experience, and a strong foundation in Scripture.
Kim Clark, Inner Healing Facilitator
Kim is a compassionate and discerning leader based in Slave Lake, Alberta, serving as an Inner Healing Facilitator with Rising Above Ministries. A mother of five, Kim brings both lived experience and spiritual depth to her ministry, drawing on her journey of parenting, faith, and perseverance to support others in their own paths to healing.
Deeply committed to helping people break cycles of defeat and find hope beyond brokenness, Kim works closely with individuals who are navigating trauma, emotional wounds, and spiritual struggles. Her gentle presence and Spirit-led discernment help create a safe and supportive environment for inner healing and transformation.
Alongside her husband, Rev. Bruce Clark, Kim is a vital part of the broader ministry in Slave Lake, offering pastoral care, mentorship, and support to families and individuals seeking hope and renewal.
Whether ministering in a quiet one-on-one setting or offering encouragement to a group, Kim reflects the love and grace of Christ with authenticity, compassion, and unwavering faith.
Meghan Noftall, Office Manager
Meghan has over 15 years of experience in finance, administration, and nonprofit operations and is dedicated to overseeing office operations at Rising Above Ministries in Slave Lake.
Whether she’s balancing budgets, keeping the lights on, or tracking every last receipt, Meghan sees good stewardship as a meaningful act of service. She understands that behind every financial report lies a deeper story—one of healing, hope, and second chances.
A lifelong learner and lover of details, Meghan thrives in creating systems that run smoothly and in helping people feel supported. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband Chris and their two kids, organizing (often by color), and making another attempt at keeping a plant alive in the office.
For Meghan, this isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. She’s passionate about supporting life-changing ministry through sound financial practices and dependable administration. She is honored to be part of the transformative work happening every day at Rising Above.
